Black Leaders, Elected Officials to Address Redistricting, Elections at Baton Rouge Town Hall

BATON ROUGE, La. — Community leaders, elected officials, and voting-rights advocates are set to gather for “Town Hall Meeting Part 2: Legislative Forum,” an event focused on redistricting, upcoming elections, and voter mobilization in Louisiana.
The forum will be moderated by C. Denise Marcelle is scheduled to take place at Living Faith Christian Center, 6375 Winbourne Ave., Baton Rouge, La. 70805.
Organizers say the gathering will focus on upcoming elections, legislative updates, redistricting developments, and strategies to increase civic engagement and voter turnout.
Featured speakers include Troy Carter, Cleo Fields, Regina Barrow, Gary Carter, Tamanda Boatner, and Davante Lewis.
Attorney Sara Rohani and community advocate Checo Vancy are also expected to participate.

The forum will include discussion on how redistricting decisions may impact representation in Louisiana communities, along with broader election-related updates and civic participation efforts.
