Baton Rouge police recorded a second-degree battery at 1003 Bob Pettit Blvd. during the early morning hours of Sept. 4, according to Baton Rouge Police Department incident data.

The incident, case No. 26-185395, was assigned report number 5713480 and occurred at approximately 1:30 a.m. Sept. 4. The record was entered at 4:45:34 p.m. the same day and marked completed at 10:11:02 a.m. Sept. 5.

The offense was categorized as a battery against a person and carries the incident classification 13A, aggravated assault. The record identifies the responding area as South Campus, beat 2C, sector 2C3, within the 70820 ZIP code.

The address is the location of The House in Tigerland, a college-oriented bar in Baton Rouge. Public information identifies the business at 1003 Bob Pettit Blvd. and describes it as being in the historic Tigerland area near LSU's Tiger Stadium.
