Baker Residents to Hear Directly From Candidates at Oct. 7 Community Forum
Baker residents will have a chance to hear candidates discuss their priorities and answer community questions during an Oct. 7 forum at the Baker Municipal Building.
BAKER, La. — Baker residents can hear directly from candidates and ask questions about issues affecting the city at a community candidate forum scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 7.
The “Meet the Candidates” Community Forum will begin at 6 p.m. at the Baker Municipal Building, 3325 Groom Road.
The forum will provide candidates an opportunity to discuss their priorities, respond to community concerns, and share their vision for Baker's future.
State Rep. Dr. Barbara Carpenter will host the forum, with Sen. Regina Barrow, Senate president pro tempore, serving as moderator.
Residents are encouraged to attend and bring questions about issues that matter to their families, neighborhoods, and the city's future.
The forum is free and open to the public.
