SWAC TV to Stream 50 HBCU Football Games During 2026 Season

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — HBCU football fans will have plenty of opportunities to follow their favorite teams this fall as the Southwestern Athletic Conference prepares to stream 50 regular-season games on SWAC TV.
The free digital platform will begin its 2026 football coverage Aug. 29 and continue through Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 26. The lineup includes conference games, nonconference matchups, Classics and Homecoming contests involving SWAC schools.
The schedule gives fans across the country a way to watch games they might otherwise miss while providing additional exposure for HBCU football programs.
The opening weekend features four games, including Clark Atlanta at Grambling State, Albany State at Florida A&M, Morehouse against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Miles at Alcorn State.
Southern University will make several appearances on SWAC TV, beginning with Kentucky State at Southern on Sept. 5. The Jaguars will also face Louisiana Christian on Sept. 19, Arkansas-Pine Bluff on Oct. 3, Prairie View A&M on Oct. 10, Texas Southern on Oct. 24 and Bethune-Cookman on Nov. 7.
Grambling State, Jackson State, Alcorn State, Florida A&M and Prairie View A&M also are featured prominently throughout the schedule.
Among the games likely to draw significant attention are Tuskegee at Jackson State on Sept. 19, Alcorn State at Grambling State on Oct. 3, Jackson State at Grambling State on Oct. 10, Jackson State at Bethune-Cookman on Oct. 24 and Arkansas-Pine Bluff at Grambling State on Nov. 7.
Homecoming football also receives significant coverage. SWAC TV will stream games involving Bethune-Cookman, Southern, Grambling State, Alcorn State, Mississippi Valley State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff during the season.
November will feature several conference matchups as teams jockey for position heading toward the SWAC Football Championship Game.
The regular season will close with a Thanksgiving Day Classic on Nov. 26, when Tuskegee travels to Alabama State.
