Jamie Foxx is doing the math on fatherhood again. In 12 years, he will be 70. For now, the actor is looking forward to a new baby with his girlfriend, Alyce Huckstepp, and joking about returning to the school drop-off line.

During a Tuesday appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Foxx spoke about the child, his first with Huckstepp. He is already the father of two daughters, Corinne, 32, and Anelise, 18.

“I got a baby on the way … still got it!” Foxx told Kimmel. He acknowledged that becoming a father again at 58 gave him something to think about. A conversation with Al Pacino, who welcomed a son in 2023 while in his 80s, helped him see the humor in it.

The exchange grew more personal when Foxx discussed his recovery from a 2023 brain bleed that led to a stroke. He said he feels “fantastic” now, though he once doubted he would make it back.

“Sometimes my daughter says I’m too grateful,” Foxx said, explaining that the medical crisis changed how he sees everyday life.

The pregnancy was reported in May. Foxx’s comments offered a fuller picture of how he is approaching the years ahead: aware of his age, ready with a joke and thankful to be here for them.
