Zachary, La. — Mississippi State University has recognized over 4,500 students for their academic achievements by naming them to the fall 2023 President's List. Among the distinguished honorees are several students hailing from Zachary. The Zachary students who have earned this esteemed recognition are Ashlynn Kearney, Monet McDaniels, Owen Walters, Madison Shipp, Claire Venable, Caden Detre, and Charles White.
Additionally, Darby Freeman stands out among 2,514 students named to Mississippi State University's Fall 2023 Dean’s List.
To qualify for the President's List, students must maintain a GPA of 3.80 or higher on a 4.0 scale, having completed a minimum of 12 semester hours of coursework without receiving any incomplete grades or grades lower than a C. Similarly, students named to the Dean’s List must have achieved a GPA between 3.5 and 3.79 on a 4.0 scale, also completing at least 12 semester hours of coursework with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.
