Subaru of Baton Rouge Teams Up to Provide Shoes and Socks to Children in Need

Baton Rouge, LA – Subaru of Baton Rouge, in collaboration with Operation Warm® and The Resistance, demonstrated its commitment to community welfare by donating over 200 pairs of shoes and socks to local children facing urgent need situations. The event, held at Merrydale Elementary School, provided children with a unique shopping experience where volunteers assisted them in selecting their preferred colors.

The initiative, part of the Subaru Loves to Help® program, underscores Subaru of Baton Rouge's dedication to supporting those experiencing homelessness and urgent need circumstances. General Manager Jordan Fabre highlighted the importance of extending assistance to vulnerable children within the community, emphasizing Subaru of Baton Rouge's ongoing commitment to social responsibility.

This partnership marks Subaru of Baton Rouge's inaugural collaboration with The Resistance and Operation Warm, aligning with its broader community engagement strategy under the Subaru Love Promise. By joining forces with Operation Warm and other initiatives, Subaru aims to aid over 750,000 individuals in need nationwide by the end of the campaign year.
