Baton Rouge, La. — The East Baton Rouge Parish Mayor-President’s Office Sharon Weston Broome and Community Activist Cathy Toliver partner to present ‘The Table is Spread,’ a day of hope and encouragement to victims and families impacted by gun violence, law enforcement, the first responders, caregivers, clergy, and concerned members of the community. The inspirational event will serve dinner and feature musical recording artist Elder Timothy Britten, the IFA Music and Arts Ministry, and more.
The grandmother of Devin Page Jr. is turning her pain into progress to help heal the community. Three-year-old Devin Page Jr. was tragically killed by a stray bullet in April 2022 while asleep in his home. The event will be held Sunday, November 20, 2022, at 3:00 PM at Southern University F.G.
