Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome of East Baton Rouge Parish is spearheading an initiative to survey local entrepreneurs and companies in the area. The survey is open to businesses and organizations of any sector or size. It seeks to comprehensively understand how they experience procurement policies, processes, communications, and systems in the community. The goal is to build upon the work started in 2018 to reduce procurement disparities, improve efficiencies, and promote inclusivity and equity in the city’s operations.
Local business owners or leaders of Baton Rouge-based organizations are encouraged to complete the questionnaire. All responses will be anonymous. The survey will be available until May 19, 2023.
