BATON ROUGE, La. - Baton Rouge Legislators, Representatives C. Denise Marcelle, Barbara W. Carpenter, and Louisiana State Senator Regina Barrow have teamed up to launch a new billboard campaign to stop the spread of COVID-19 in the area.


"I have witnessed first-hand the devastating effects of COVID," said Representative Marcelle. "It's crucial that we take all necessary steps to protect ourselves and our loved ones. Our new campaign aims to promote vaccinations and encourage residents to follow the guidelines recommended by the Louisiana Department of Health to reduce the spread of the virus."

The "Join Us! Get Vaccinated and Stay Alive!" billboards will feature the three legislators and will be displayed throughout Baton Rouge for several weeks. The campaign is designed to inspire residents to take necessary precautions and vaccinations, which will help minimize the spread of COVID-19.


Representative Carpenter emphasized the importance of community involvement in the fight against COVID-19, "We all have a role to play in slowing down the spread of COVID-19.
