Baker, Louisiana - Mayor Darnell Waites of Baker applauded Rose Hill Church's relocation to the city as a significant step towards bolstering community cohesion and progress. The momentous occasion unfolded on Sunday, March 31st, drawing a crowd of dignitaries and residents alike. The festivities commenced with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting at 7:30 a.m., followed by a solemn church service at 8 a.m., attended by esteemed guests including Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome and several Baker council members.
